Hello everyone,

I had a little time last week and I done some pretesting with the HIS HD4890 1GB that it can do on cold air form outside – next time maybe extreme cooling power were used.

The components I used for the testing:

E8600 Q822A435 @ 4.5GHz 1,35-1,4V on h2o

Asus P5Q-E BIOS 2101

2×1GiB Patriot eXtreme performance PC8500 @ 500MHz CL5-5-5-15 2T 2,1V

HIS ATI Radeon HD 4890 1GB DDR5 on 100% FAN stock cooling

Maxtor 6V080E0 80GB SATA II

Akasa 1200W 80+

WaterCooling part used in the loop:

Laing DDC-1RT

D-Tek Fuzion v.1 w/o noozle kit

Black Ice GT 360 Stealth Lite + 3×12CM FAN @ 12V

10/8mm PUR tubing

2l expansion ghetto bottle

As usual I started on default voltage and it says 950MHz on the core and 1150MHz on memory. But I wanted more. :)

So I used the GPUTool and increased the core voltage on the max what it can be increased by software 1,45V and started to testing.

For 3D Mark 2003 the clocks stopped at 1030MHz for the core and 1150 for the memory with the result 76 841 points.

3D Mark 2005 I only could run at 1000MHz core and 1150 memory clock speed.  :(   The result 29 686 points.

05-1

Same as 2005 I could run 3D Mark 06 only on 1000MHz core and 1150 memory clock speed. :( With the result of 20009 points.

06-1

And now the surprise. 3D Mark Vantage I could run at 1040MHz core a 1175 MHZ clock speed.  With the result of  11525 points. (12786 GPU score)

Even run Aquamark 3 but not surprised with the result. Only 248 912 points. Maybe a driver or operating system issue or something else.

Not bad results, but with a better CPU power the results will be a little better. So now I´m waiting for my new Core i7 setup.
