Here’s my test on these two low-end cards.

Memories: GDDR3  256Mb
GPU clock: 580MHz
GDDR clock: 800MHz
Stream processors: 32
Bus : 128-bit
Connectors: Dual DVI e S-Video
Slot: PCI Express
Can work on SLI


8600GTS OC

Gpu technology: 80nm
Memories: GDDR3  256Mb
GPU clock: 700MHz
GDDR clock: 1050MHz
Stream processors: 32
Bus : 128-bit
Connectors: Dual DVI e S-Video
Slot: PCI Express
Can work on SLI

Setup

  • Psu: LC Power Metatron Arkangel 850w
  • Motherboard: P5B Deluxe, Bios rev. 1101
  • Cpu: Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 @ 3.2GHz
  • Memories: 2×1Gb Dual Channel @ 1000MHz 4-5-5-10
  • Hard Disk: Western Digital 250Gb SATA
  • OS: Windows XP Professional edition 32-bit – Windows Vista Ultimate edition 32-bit
  • Driver: Nvidia Forceware 158.22 (Windows XP) – Nvidia Forceware 158.2 (Windows Vista)

Conclusion

These two cards are very interesting if you want to do some low budget overclock, they do not perform anything like top class GPU’s, but they are still fun to use.
