Introduction
Asus launched the first of the Republic of Gamers (ROG) series for the AMD platform way back in 2007, calling it the Asus Crosshair for the AM2 platform, which was based on the Nvidia nForce 590 chipset. The second in the series was the Asus Crosshair II Formula, which was based on the Nvidia 780a chipset. The third in the series is the Crosshair III Formula and this time Asus did the smart thing and ditched the Nvidia chipsets. They went ahead with the brand new 790FX chipset and m...
[Review] Cooler Master Vortex Plus2 Comments By The DukecloseAuthor: The DukeName: Drew Briggs Email: drew@techreaction.net Site:http://www.techreaction.net About: Just keeping it real for the average joe overclocker and computer user.See Authors Posts (169) on April 22, 2010
Cooler Master was kind enough to send us the brand new Vortex Plus CPU cooler. It has a low profile design with 4 heat pipes in direct contact with the base. This is a nice touch to help dissipate heat as quickly as possible. With the low profile design, the Vortex needs every advantage it can get to make up for it’s lack of mass and surface area. We will put it to the test and see how well it performs. Will it be able to tackle the Intel i7 monster or will the i7 be too much for the low...

Introduction
Cooler Master’s current best seller, the CM 690 was initially launched in 2007 and has been one of their mainstays ever since then. The popularity of this chassis was such that it spawned a number of variants, amongst them a windowed version and later the pure version with an all black interior. The chassis was very simple in design and construction and what made it such a great product was that it was designed keeping a lot of the market requirements in mind.

With the much anticipated release of the 5xxx series a success on many levels, the ATI crowd has much to celebrate. The new 5 series cards put ATI back on top of the video card market. [Blog] Android 2.1 update on the Moto Droid2 Comments By BurncloseAuthor: BurnName: Brett Konold Email: brettkonold@cox.net Site: About: High School studentSee Authors Posts (1) on April 4, 2010
Well as some might already know, Verizon and Motorola have been talking about an Android 2.1 update for the droid for weeks now, and it’s finally here. Verizon began pushing out the update on March 30th, and I was able to get a hold of the update file and install it on my phone manually. My first impression wasn’t all that great; it didn’t include the fancy launcher that the Nexus One has, it didn’t include the cool 2.1 clock app the Nexus One also has, and some other lit...
