Today Cooler Master adds to their line-up of notebook adapters. The USNA 95, Ultra Slim Notebook Adapter, is the fourth edition to their notebook adapter line, and they boast that it is the world’s smallest 95w adapter at that! This tiny notebook adapter was designed as the ultimate traveler companion. Not only does it charge notebooks, but it also charges USB devices such as: cell phones and smart phones, MP3 players, iPod, PDA, GPS, and more. The smart LED indicator tells you whether your USB devices or notebook is charging properly.

With the picture above, you can see everything hooked up and working. It’s not the most exciting picture, but what do you expect from a notebook adapter? As you can see, it’s very simple to hook up, all you need is the correct adapter head to fit your laptop, then just plug everything in. Also, notice the cable clip which helps keep your wires under control. This is a practical addition to keep everything nice and neat.

There are only two colors on the adapter which you will need to learn. When you see the red LED, it means you are charging something with the USB connection. If you see the Green LED, it means the power is on and ready to connect to a device of your choosing. See how easy this is to remember?

With the last picture, you will see the connection from the cord to the adapter head. Just line it up, push and it will connect. We have chosen, per the USNA box, the black charger tip for our Dell laptop. The fit is great, and it’s nice and snug and does what it was supposed to do.

Conclusion:

The USNA 95 does exactly what it was intended to do. Having nine different charging tips is a great idea, and adds significant convenience and value to the adapter.  It will charge almost every laptop on the market. Having a USB connection that charges as well is also a handy thing to have with the power adapter. One thing we would like to warn you about before you buy, however, is that the charging tips are small. If you are not careful, they can easily be lost. Just watch what you are doing and you should be fine. Overall, it works! What else can we say about a notebook adapter?
