Test System:

The test system is updated with every video card review to reflect the video card being tested as well as the driver used in the testing. The other parts of the test system will never change until they are no longer considered top of the line. This way we can insure consistent results that can be compared without hesitation.

Overclocking:

Overclocking the card was easy, but we were let down by the final overclock as we have seen much higher from these 560 cards. We ended up with a final overclock of 915/1021, which is about 11% core increase and 2% memory increase. This is a decent overclock, but it ended up not meeting our expectations from previous experiences with these cards. However, as no overclock is guaranteed, you should be happy with any gain in speeds that you receive.

3DMark:

Crysis Warhead:

In the 3DMark tests we saw an average gain of 5.5%, which is a solid gain in performance for our underachieving overclock. For the Crysis tests, we had a 4.2% increase in average FPS and that is also great to see.
