The top of the HAF Advanced shows off the massive 230mm exhaust fan, which can be replaced by up to four 120mm fans. Also, notice the built-in fill port for water cooling in the front when you pull off the rubber pad. Definitely a nice touch, though it shouldn’t be too surprising, since Cooler Master is no stranger to providing water cooling solutions of their own.
On the side panel, Cooler Master has kept with the small window with a massive mesh area. As with the top opening, you have the option of installing up to four 120mm fans do not want to use the included 230mm one (whether that’s for performance, aesthetic, or audio reasons).
On the front, you have quick access to two internal USB 3.0, four USB 2.0, one IEEE 1394a, one mic input, and one audio out connection. The front also includes another 230mm intake fan to add to the high-flow design. You’ll notice that the USB 3.0 jacks are segregated from the rest of the port cluster, which may or may not be a problem if your USB 3.0 peripherals have shorter cables.
