The Case
As was mentioned before, iBuyPower uses the NZXT Phantom Full Tower case in white for this build. The case itself is constructed of aluminum and plastic. The design of the case is a bit abstract, with the top of the case being on an angle instead of the more typical flat top design many other case are outfitted with. Thus, if you’re in the habit of setting your beverage of choice on top of your rig, you need to find another place for it. You still have a bunch of those old AOL coasters stashed somewhere, right?
The case utilizes five fans in all: two 200mm fans, and three 120mm fans (two located at the side panel door of the case, and one at the rear). iBuyPower has removed the rear 120mm fan to make room for their water cooling solution.

The top of the case has a mesh covering to protect the 200mm fan closest to the rear from dirt and dust. The fan closest to the front panel is protected by its own mesh covering. There are mesh coverings along the side panels of the case as well. There is also an option to add a sixth fan, 140mm in size, in the front panel if you wish.
The rear of the case shows us that there are four water cooling cut-outs for you to use if you decide to use an alternat water cooling solution other than the one provided to you by iBuyPower. Also you can see there are seven expansion slots.
Going back to the top of the case, the NZXT Phantom has manual fan controls for you to adjust the speeds of the fans located all around the case. The icons, as well as the blue LEDs, make it very clear which fan you are adjusting the speed of.
You will find the Power On Button, Reset Button, USB ports, eSata port, and audio ports for headsets, mics, and headphones atop the case.
The front panel door closes via magnets; one on the top and one on the bottom of the door which allows for quiet closure.
The case itself is quite roomy, with cable management solutions aplenty, which iBuyPower utilizes.
There are five 5.25″, and seven 3.25″ / 2.5″ drive bays in total which make use of a screwless rail design.
All in all, a pretty good choice in cases by iBuyPower, in our opinion.
