Unboxing, Packaging and Accessories:

The packaging for Cooler Master H612PWM is presentable. The cooler comes in a fairly sturdy box. The box is lined with plastic foam to protect the cooler and hold the cooler in place. On the box are product images as well as description and specifications.

Accessories:

All the accessories needed for a full installation are included. The package contains mounting kits for AMD and Intel CPUs, as well as two manuals and a small tube of thermal paste. All accessories are kept neatly together in a plastic baggies.

Universal Items:

  • Multi option Backplate
  • 4 small Screws
  • 4 Bolts
  • 4 Washers
  • 4 Foam pads w/adhesive
  • 2 Fan clips
  • 4 Fan half length fan screws
  • 1 Bolt screw attachment
  • Generic Thermal Paste

AMD Set:

  • AMD Clip – 2x Mounting bracket

Intel Set:

  • Intel Clip – 2x Mounting bracket (Socket 1155/1156/1366)
  • Intel Clip – 2x Mounting bracket (Socket 775)

The mounting kit is very universal and rather brief. There is really not much to it. The screws for the Intel socket are already attached to the two brackets and are not meant to be removed. The screws for Intel’s 775 socket and AMD socket are fixed and not removable. We will get into detail about the installation later.

Manual:

There are two manuals. The first is a small quick installation foldout-map. The second is also a foldout-map style manual but much larger. It contains the same instruction but a little bit more in detail and with multi-language support.

The manual is well-documented, with images and diagrams as well as text. The instructions are clear and straightforward as well as easy to understand, and are offered in multiple languages.
