[Review] Nexus Prominent 5

The Nexus Prominent 5:

The Prominent 5 has a very basic look to it on the outside; considering what the case is going for, this fits in with the overall theme just fine. There are no intake fans on the side because of the sound dampening installed on the side panels. The front of the Prominent 5 sports a full black mesh cover, which seems to be the basic build for most front panels on cases in the market today.

On the back of the Prominent 5 is the standard 120mm exhaust fan area. There are no pre-cut holes, which is understandable, to help keep the noise contained inside. We think most people who are looking into a case like this would not be running a massive water cooling setup.

On the top of the Prominent 5, they have placed a hidden I/O area, which sports 4x USB2.0, 1 FireWire, 1x E-Sata,1x Mic, and 1x Audio (AC’97 or HD).
