[Review] Rosewill Thor V2 White Edition

Air Flow:

The side panel sports a massive 230mm intake fan that could be replaced with an optional four 120mm fans.

The front also comes with another 230mm intake fan that blows over the hard drives while bringing in fresh air to your system.

The top has the third 230mm fan to help exhaust any excess heat. The 230mm fan can be replaced with two 120/140mm fans if you want to go that route. The back panel sports a 140mm to coordinate with the 230mm fan for exhaust duties.

The bottom is ready to go with an option for adding another 120/140mm fan into the mix to further help cool the inside of the Thor.

Conclusion:

Overall, the Rosewill Thor V2 blew us away with everything it brought to our review table. First off, the ol’ switcharoo with the colors was very nice! The white on black looks great, and will help the Thor stand out from almost every case out there. The addition of USB 3.0 and two fan controllers was a great idea from Rosewill,  and we applaud them!  The wire management solution was first class all the way, which helped us achieve an extremely clean installation. The dust filters utilized were not up to the caliber of say, Silverstone’s, but they are better than nothing and will get the job done. With the Thor V2 able to accommodate our 590 and actually making it look small, you will have no problem installing any graphics card on the market.

The Thor V2 is by far one of the better cases we have reviewed in a long, long time. There is really nothing we could nit-pick at or complain about with the Thor V2. We unreservedly recommend this case to anyone looking for a case in this price range, with an MSRP of $139.99.

The Rosewill Thor V2 receives the TechREACTION.net Gold Silicon Award!
