The hybrid design combines a polycarbonate hard shell and shock absorbing silicone core to help protect your Galaxy 3 from the inevitable fall. The black/gray combination looks really good together.

Installation:

 

With the hybrid case fully installed, you can see how perfectly it fits with everything on the Galaxy S3. Everything is free to use with no blockage like you sometimes see on cheap cases. The Silicone inner layer is molded over the power button and two volume buttons, aligned perfectly to give you zero problems during usage. When installing the hard outer shell,  it may squeeze the silicone a little, but you can easily move it to fit perfectly again, if this happens.

 

Installing the screen protector is pretty simple if you go slowly. You need to make sure your screen is completely free of residue and particles before you start, otherwise it will look awful and have bubbles. Incipio has included their logo’d applicator to help brush down the screen protector and help make sure no air pockets show up.  “Slow and steady”  is all we can say while installing the screen protector.

Conclusion:

Well, what can we say? The hybrid design fits great together and the silicone mold matches perfectly with our Galaxy S3. Installing the case was quick and easy, and installing the screen protector was a little slower but still pretty easy. We did not do any drop testing, on purpose, as Samsung nor Incipio promised a new phone if it happened to break. So we left that off for obvious reasons! It did, however, fall out of our car one day and survived the fall with zero dents and dings and no scratches on the screen, so that was good enough for us.

With an MSRP of $29.99, the SILICRYLIC DualPro is a solid buy if you are looking for a nice looking case that will save your phone from an average fall from 3-4 feet in the air. With that, the Incipio SILICRYLIC DualPro earns the Techreaction.net Gold Silicon Award!
