Antec P280

Air Flow:

The back panel comes with one 120mm fan to help exhaust all your hot out of the P280.

The front area of the case has two options for installing your 120mm intake fans. You can install them on the front, just behind the dust filter or on the back side of the HDD cage. You could also install them in both places if you wanted to try for a lot more airflow if you think you need it.

Conclusion:

The Antec P280 was very nice to review. As with most cases from Antec the quality is top notch! The quiet scheme of the case looked good and well implemented with the heavy side panels and the sound dampening foam on the front door. The three fan controller on the back panel is a nice addition to have the option of turning them on high or low. Having the ability to use USB 3.0 on this case is another addition we now expect with almost every case we review, because why the hell not?

The wire management was really good on the P280 keeping our installation nice, clean and clutter free. The tool free installation was great to have on this case, as it made everything really quick and easy. The 2.5″ installation in the top of the HDD cage was great! That is the first time we have seen something like that and personally, we would like to see more of it with 2.5″ drives. The two dust filters on the P280 were very nice and should do a great job of keeping most the dust out.

Overall, the Antec P280 with an MSRP of $119.99, was a great case. It receives the Techreaction.net Gold Silicon Award!
