Rounding out our coverage of CES 2011, Drew and I stopped by AMD’s meeting rooms at the Las Vegas Convention Center. We had a meeting setup with AMD’s John Taylor to discuss Fusion, as well as the upcoming processor road maps. Some interesting discussion ensued…

Alex and myself hit up the iBuyPower suite in our long journey over the week at CES. They had setup a lot of custom systems that were available on their site. You may recognize the cases from other companies that we have talked about already. Plus, you will notice the NZXT Phantom in the gallery as well, which we had not mentioned before. Have fun looking at the gallery below and I will dive into a special case they had for us later on in the article.

We walked in the Thermaltake suite and were greeted by a fully decked out Level 10GT. We also got to see their new mechanical gaming keyboard, a multicolor LED gaming mouse, the Armor A30, and their new line of power supplies.

Continuing on with our seemingly never ending journey this week, Alex and I made our way to the Silverstone suite. Impressed with what we found could very well be an understatement. Silverstone had great looking chassis on display for our viewing. The FT03 was the first chassis we stumbled upon in the Silverstone suite and it was an eye catcher. The Raven and TJ11 were also both extremely great looking as well and I will cover those two more in depth later on in the article.

After the Nvidia GeForce GTX 400 series launch event, I was lucky enough to grab an interview with Nvidia’s Senior PR Manager of Consumer Products, Bryan Del Rizzo. Bryan was kind enough to give us sometime and answered each of my questions in a detailed manner, which we appreciated. Here is what he had to say…
(UPDATED: Bryan was very tired when he did this interview with me and made a mistake in mentioning that the GeForce did not contain hardware functionality for Double-Prec...

MSI and Asus were both kind enough to give us some time yesterday. First, we headed to the MSI suite at the Wynn hotel. MSI had many of their products on display, but the real meat was the demonstration of the new P55 Big Bang Fuzion board based off of the Lucid Hydra chip.
Big Bang Fuzion
The Big Bang Fuzion and Trinergy are essentially identical boards with the only difference being their choice of logic. Both are P55 boards with top of the line PWM and capacitors, however the Trinerg...

Between June 26th- 28th I got the great opportunity to go to K|ngp|n’s lab in Detroit and bench on Liquid Nitrogen, and it was my first time… That was after I took a bus trip to get there that was probably 10 times longer than what it would have been if I flew, though then again it wasn’t 850 USD either.
I arrived mid afternoon Friday and luckily I had no hardware casualties from the trip there, I met everyone when I arrived and it was really cool to meet those that I looked u...
