I hope Bulldozer does better than I think it will, if not, we might be at the mercy of Intel thinking nothing can touch them. Remember the P4.

IDK about the Dozer. Truth is I have no real need for one; though if I had one you could bet it would be put through the ringer. I buy a lot of processors (about 5 in the last year and I really have no need for one. When I want one I will go for a death run and try to burn out the a CPU and pop the caps. This way I can get it without lip. If one ends up on my doorstep I wont complain though; would love to crunch with one for a week and post those results as well as some video work.
People that buy OEM systems think Linux was a Charlie Brown character, a registry is something you see at target to buy shower gifts, RAM is a Dodge truck and a hard drive is DC at rush hour.

It does actually. Too bad it's made up of all leftovers from ASUS' assembly line.

    I so want a Bulldozer...

May have to wait till next year before I can afford it though...

Oh and by the way .. E. That MSI Board. the "Big Bang Conquerer" that you pictured.

I have read rumors that, that particular Board is actually running the 890FX chipset, but utilizing the AM3+ Socket; as MSI's 'cheap work around' to AMD's claims that Bulldozer will not support any AM3 based CPU's.

I have, however yet to see any 'official' specs on that Board.

I have held that board in my hands before there was any press on it ... FYI
