got al ittle more than half of them on DVD already I prefer the "not top 500 IMDB movies" anyway

Johnny Mnemonic should be on the list too. Usually only mentioned in cyberpunk threads. It is a good movie

Yup. J Nm, I thought was more on the beaten path.

Guy Ritchie makes surprisingly decent movies. "From Paris with Love" one of them?

don't know I do not know many sci-fi fans. terminator comes up to them as sci-fi (I think of it as action but... was alive when it came out and old enough to go see it

    EDIT: From Paris with Love
liked that one as well. Was that the Harrison Ford or John Travolta movie? (I am terrible with names on books I have read or Movies I have seen). LOL Both were good.

Big time fan of fiction. Don't often have time for books anymore it seems. I really must start riding the bus places

Well I feel an entire genera is off of the beaten path "Japanese Giant Monster Movies". I know it is geeky but I love that stuff.
People that buy OEM systems think Linux was a Charlie Brown character, a registry is something you see at target to buy shower gifts, RAM is a Dodge truck and a hard drive is DC at rush hour.

Another movie worth checking out is "Assault on Precinct 13" (1976). Not the 2005 version. It was made by John Carpenter before he got into SciFi/horror. If you can find it.

    Classic 70's Drive-in flick.
