Movie folder contents created by MCM...
XBMC Library
XBMC Movie Info
It may be your MCM settings and or XBMC scraper settings
MCM settings:
Be sure your primary movie scraper is set to IMDB not the Moviedb, and check all settings in MCM pertaining to XBMC.
In XBMC the primary scraper for movies should be IMDB, not TheMviedb.
If done this way your folder contents should be identical to mine shown in the first pic

LOL, for what you paid for those progs, ya'd think so.
exactly
On a side note, ever since the MCM update, where it adds colors to the movies with no metadata or incomplete metadata, it wont save the progress and I have to re-fetch the metadata to get the colors to go away. It stays in the folders correctly, just not in MCM ... not a huge deal but just really annoying, as I add more and more movies those colors will start to take over. Are you having the same problem?

colors? dude!
Do you mean as in movies highlighted with or without metadata?
In any case the recent release 1.34 is buggy, and they are still working on a solution.
One known fix is to delete the "bin" file folder in the appdata directory, and then do an MCM update. %AppData%\Peter Souza IV\Media Center Master\bin (the bin folder and its contents only).
Then run an MCM update.
Edit: Do you use filters to only show titles with missing metadata?
Yes, they are taking over everywhere.those colors will start to take over. Are you having the same problem?

hmmm yes 1.34 is really buggy lol ....
OK, I will try the deleting the bin folder trick and see if that helps.
Any word on an update to fix this?
I do use the filters every now and then when I upload a lot of movies at once ... but most the time no since I only do like 4-5

I tired the deleting the Bin folder and then updated it ... still does the same thing. Guess I am stuck with this till they officially update it.

slow when you are doing what? I don't really notice it being slow, besides when I do re-fetch all meta data...

I use MCM this way...
I transfer single movie files to my movie directory, usually 2-3 titles at any given time.
When I start MCM, I have filters set to show only titles missing all metadata.
This is where it crawls or even stops responding.
When highlighting single or multiple files to fetch, it is very slow to respond with a huge lag in the time it takes for the fetch menu to appear. Even after selecting one or more titles to fetch, nothing happens. I have to reselect the titles and select the fetch operation again. Then it works--slowly.
I have MCM set to rename the file, create a folder of the same name, download folder and backdrop artwork, and create multiple metadata files (i.e. for XBMC, WMC, etc.). I limit the number of backdrops to 3.
This is apparently a known issue and documented on the MCM forum, but with no solution as of yet.
Before using MCM, I used to use 2 progs, one to rename files and another to create folders of the same name before moving them to the "movie" directory. Then, I would rely only on the XBMC scrapers to do the art and metadata. In many cases, XBMC would get foreign (non-English) info.
MCM alone does all of this correctly in one shot. In XBMC, I only need to run the "update library" function, and I am done.
hmmm I do not get any of the lag you speak of while doing those operations ... have you tried reinstalling MCM?
