Do you have XBMC set to scrape by folder name instead of file name? I have done that before.

Could you tell us which 2 movies?

I don't have any issues with my movies, I have a few shows XBMC hates scraping on the first try.

The easiest way to fix and avoid these issues is to have a prog like Media Center Manager do the scraping before adding them to the XBMC library.

MCM will reformat file names to proper conventions, create folders and name all folders and files the same. MCM has a lot of built in XBMC options/settings.

Problems as described are typically caused by stupid shit like double dots in the file name that our aging eyes can't see.

When I move a video (or several) file to my Movies dir, I run MCM on that folder, filtering only titles without metadata. Do a "fetch" and then it renames the file, creates the folder name, and DL' s the metadata and art.
Then I run "Update Library" in XBMC. Rarely have a problem.

You should link to MCM, I just searched for it and can't find exactly what program you are talking about.

Cool thanks for the link! I have been using Media Companion up until now and it is painfully outdated.

Ok got most fixed ... still having a hell of a time with a movie called "The Warriors Way"

I have renamed it to see if it would be picked up, I have hit it with MCM a few times wiping data and re-gathering it ... I am out of ideas

You can try to, exit library mode, right click on the movie that does not add correctly, go to (its) movie information, refresh, it should then ask you for its name, type it in and see if it scrapes! Then go back to library mode.
