With all of the Smartphones available in the world today, finding the one for you can be a hard task. The LG Optimus 2X houses an 8MP camera capable of 1080p HD recording and a 1GHz dual-core processor whilst running Android 2.2; some pretty awesome features, I’m sure you’ll agree. Hopefully, we’ll see some excellent results from this high-end Android device.

its an tmobile g2x, i have one and its great (alot faster than the droidx or any other snapdragon single core and much faster games than like a droid 3 or sensation) but it dose eat battery, there is a sleep of death problem and it locks up sometimes, but cm7 and other custom roms are supposed to fix most of it, but NV did not put all the drivers out so u cannot get everything and the home screen hardware acceleration working on a custom. u could cook a rom like the stock+root on XDA but the customs are a little off.

it also has an ips screen so its really clean image quality and its 72hz

why did they review a phone thats a year old.

Oh I thought the droidX was a dual core. My sisters eats a battery a day easy. (Maybe more, her most common phrase is "I have to charge my phone")

One thing I find surprising is why these power eating phones do not keep a internal 60 second life battery in them so you can swap batteries without rebooting.

the droid x2 is simmilar, i can see the confusion since u have to look up the specs and the carriers are crafty to hide what hardware u are buying with what cpu, ram, screen type and refresh.

what i dont get is why they dont make it a little fatter and put a larger battery, the stock ones are in the 1500-1800mA/h range but a few years ago u could get phones that had 2200mA/h stock.

on the change, most people dont carry a spare on them they have it in a car or bag so u could use an energizer or other portable usb charger, so u could charge with that or use it to keep the phone up while u swap batteries.

i have to say that for the g2x/optimus x2 the 72hz screen makes all of the difference, its smooth and when u run vsync that moves up the half rate to 36 and thats just enough to make games not look strange, and the 72hz is nice in the US since it speeds up the animations.
