I just ran it on my main build, with my Radeon HD 6950 running on factory default settings, but with my i5-2500K clocked up to 4.7ghz.
Comparing the results to my December run with Heaven 2.5 on the same PC, running different Catalyst Drivers and an Overclock of 4.0ghz... That original Score from December on Heaven 2.5 was 940 at 37 FPS.
Tonight, running Heaven 3.0 on the same video card with the same settings but newer Drivers, CPU at 4.7ghz, and the Heaven 3.0 score is 1282 at 50 FPS.
Big difference there, and though I am sure some of it is from the different CPU overclocks, its still a rather impressive increase in performance in my opinion.
I'll post some screen shots of the two score results when I get home from work tomorrow.

First Image
Heaven 2.5 Results
Benchmark run on December, 2011
Radeon HD 6950 2GB @ Default Factory Clocks, running either AMD Catalyst 11.9, 11.10, or 11.11 (I don't remember which one)
6970 Shaders Unlocked (1536)
Intel Core i5-2500K with CPU Ratio at 4.0ghz

Second Image
Heaven 3.0 Results
Benchmark run April, 2012
Radeon HD 6950 2GB @ Default Factory Clocks w/ 6970 Shaders Unlocked (1536)
Catalyst 11.12
Intel Core i5-2500K with CPU Ratio at 4.7ghz

Not sure if the difference in results is due entirely to the enhancements with Heaven 3.0; or a difference in the AMD Catalyst Drivers... or the CPU Overclock.
I suspect each play a factor in the results... but either way.
Thats a heck of an improvement on those Heaven 3.0 results!
I'll retest tomorrow with my CPU settings duplicated from the December run and see what difference it makes; also plan to test it with both CPU and GPU overclocked but again that will have to wait till tomorrow!

Different versions can't be compared usually.
CPU does not play a huge roll IIRC.. been a while since I ran heaven...
Beer drinking is like finger painting. When you are young, you do not care what you stick your fingers into as long as you got to do it. When you are older, eww Heineken? I really want a beer that comes from the factory skunked?
