    Sooooo anyone went ahead, and gave the new premium service a shot?

    lol. Basically you plunk down a one time payment of $50 and you get all the upcoming DLC free as well as early access to them, 20 weapons, 10 vehicles etc. Check the link when you get a chance.

    Battlefield 3 Premium

    I hopped on this past weekend for the first time in weeks, and there were a good number of premium players. My friend was fighting the urge to get it but he's a BF head so he eventually caved and he is in love with it. There's even Premium Servers. TBH it looked to me like a pay to get ahead type thing, and players for the most part wouldn't bite cause it seemed a bit similar to the Call of Duty Elite service. But I think I was wrong in assuming people wouldn't bite. A good number too.

    another $50? Damn I already spent $60 buying the game, I am not sure how I feel about spending $110 on a game lol

    That's exactly what I thought when I first heard about it lol @ another $50. If this extended to other installments of the game and future expansion packs.not just dlc's then I'd be sort of fine with it, but people seem to be ponying up the doe. eh go fig.
