    Challenge time!!

Would you guys want to take on this challenge?

    Here?

Total points for February. I can, and will bring some horsepower over if we need too...

I'll sign us up, if there are no major objections. Lets move some stuff and get this forum rocking for WCG....

Let's kick some butt as a team. It's probably long overdue.....

    Bob

EDIT: Yes, I know I miss-spelled Challenge.... I can't edit that I guess... Sue me...

OK, seeing as there are no objections for the six minutes I waited, we're signed up for it.

Get your rigs ready, rock solid stable, and let's do this. It starts Feb 1st. Put everything you have on WCG then. No screwing around with distractions, power problems, budgets, or anything else. If there is some problem, LMK. Then I'll either take care of it, or put my Drill Sergeant hat back on....

I want to see our production ramp up by the 15th of January. That will give us an idea of what is going to happen in the contest, what power we may need to bring, and so forth.......

From Feb 1st to the end of the month, we take no prisoners, no mercy, no quarter........

    Regards,
    Bob

OK, from the 16th to the 30th I will be doing minimal work then Got to save the cash Actually My machines act as supplemental heat, teens outside, no heat turned on inside. It rarely gets below 68 in the house.
People that buy OEM systems think Linux was a Charlie Brown character, a registry is something you see at target to buy shower gifts, RAM is a Dodge truck and a hard drive is DC at rush hour.

Any team can join. It is an open challenge. We'll have to see who shows up for this one. The main thing for us is to have fun doing it and to see where we place. If we get one more cruncher on the team from it, we have succeeded.

As to using crunchers for heat, right now I'm pretty much heating my entire house on what my rigs put out. Probably not the most efficient heating system, but at least it's not going to waste.

We don't have to do anthing extra. I've already signed the team up for the challenge.

All we have to do is keep on crunching. Our team total points for the month of February will be counted in our team total and also for the challenge.

A couple of days and it starts....

Get those rigs out of the closet.

We don't have a prayer of taking first place here with the high powered teams that are now in it, but that's not the point. We want the TR name out there. If we can take out ANY team perhaps ten times our size, it will be noticed.......

You bet I'll watch the stats like a hawk, and if needed, I think we can make it happen......

I love this bob. Lets roll. Forgive me if I have some down time today or tomorrow but I am going to try to ramp up the volts and overclock this rig a bit more.

Ok, back up @ 3.825ghz. I am going to run prime over night, I already ran it for 2 hours though and it was stable.

I ran prime for 12 hours with WCG running at the same time and no errors.... yay
