    WCG wont completely shut down?

when i exit out of WCG it still runs and I have to go through task manager to shut it down completely. I looked in options and preferences but could not find anything.

Any ideas? I am sure I am missing something, because I doubt the program runs like that ...

When you close boinc manager it should give the option to stop running science applications. See if that works for you.

The message has a check box to remember your decision so you do not have to check it always.

I also hate stuff lingering on after you thought you had killed it, like those sneaky anti-virus programs. I'm convinced some of those ARE viruses....

Some actually are you think you have an infection due to a popup and click OK give UAC permission and install a mining worm.
People that buy OEM systems think Linux was a Charlie Brown character, a registry is something you see at target to buy shower gifts, RAM is a Dodge truck and a hard drive is DC at rush hour.
