We all put up some points in the summer but in the winter some PPL get ~10000PPD and Bob can slaughter most PPL but he is a farmer at XS.
People that buy OEM systems think Linux was a Charlie Brown character, a registry is something you see at target to buy shower gifts, RAM is a Dodge truck and a hard drive is DC at rush hour.

Don't let the thread stop you from crunching. Bring it on!

The heat problem does affect a lot of folks. It depends on your situation as to whether you have to bring rigs down or not. In my case, I only turn them off during the hottest times. For the Pac NW, that's only a couple of days a year. My rig farm is in the garage, and I put in a huge furnace fan as an exhaust, so I run that whenever the temp is cooler outside than inside. With the thermal mass of the garage and the fan on at night, I usually can keep running 24/7 in all but the hottest days.

BTW, to my teammates, I have not posted in some time. The day job has been a big reason. It's been particularly busy. Combine that with a teenage daughter to raise, and you can fill in the blanks.....

Regards, and my best to all of you,
    Bob

I only have sammy crunching for the team here. It puts out almost no heat. Not much in points, but it keeps going.

    hey is winter here!

My i7 @ 55~60 keeps my bedroom warm for now.

    It's a shame, I don't have a power supply for my PII X6, so it's not crunching.

This is my time for Crunching!!!
    Sorry for my english =)
